Delonzo Pennington, 33, Dies After Being Found With Gunshot Wounds on Fidelity Avenue in Cleveland
Delonzo Pennington, a 33-year-old Cleveland resident, died after being found with gunshot wounds on Fidelity Avenue on Saturday evening.
Cleveland police received a call at approximately 9:14 p.m. and responded to 10902 Fidelity Avenue.
Officers provided first aid until Cleveland EMS crews arrived, but authorities pronounced Pennington dead at the scene.
The Cuyahoga County Medical Examiner’s Office identified Pennington as the person who died.
The Cleveland Police Crime Scene Unit examined the area for evidence, while the department’s Homicide Unit continued investigating the circumstances.
Authorities had not announced what preceded the incident, identified a suspect, or disclosed a possible motive.
The incident occurred in Cuyahoga County within the greater Cleveland area.
