Alex Eugene Killoren, 29, of Knoxville, Iowa, died following a single-vehicle rollover late Saturday, October 24, 2026.

The Iowa State Patrol reported that the crash occurred at approximately 11:59 p.m. on Highway T17, east of 216th Place near Knoxville in south-central Iowa.

Killoren drove west in a 2012 Chevrolet Silverado K25 when the pickup left a curve, entered a ditch, crossed a drainage culvert, pitched forward, and rolled at least once.

The rollover ejected Killoren, who came to rest west of the pickup.

Emergency responders provided lifesaving care before Pella EMS transported Killoren to Pella Regional Health Center, where the injuries proved fatal.

The patrol reported that Killoren did not wear a seat belt, and the report listed no other vehicles or injured occupants.

Trooper Jon Thorup investigated with assistance from the Marion County Sheriff’s Office, while Lambirth’s Towing removed the pickup.

Investigators had not determined why the pickup left the roadway, and authorities had not independently verified the precise crash point as of October 25, 2026.
